NavJun was founded on a simple belief: regulatory knowledge shouldn’t be locked behind expensive consultants or buried in 500-page PDFs. Every product team deserves a straight answer they can act on.
NavJun didn't start as a product. It started as a pattern.
For 8 years, Julien Mainguy and the team at Your Main Guy Consulting (a regulatory compliance specialist firm based in Vancouver) guided lighting manufacturers, electrical device companies, IoT product teams, and consumer-electronics brands through compliance for EU, US, UK, and APAC markets. Every engagement, the same conversation: "This is my product. What regulations apply, and what do I have to do?"
We answered that question hundreds of times for individual clients. NavJun is what happens when you turn that conversation into software, build it on 8 years of real engagements, and make it self-serve.

OUR PURPOSE
Making compliance answers cheap enough to ask twice.
Regulatory complexity is one of the biggest hidden costs in product development. Engineers spend weeks searching for answers that should take minutes. NavJun changes that.
We built an AI-native platform that understands your product context, not just keywords, and delivers precise, cited regulatory guidance in a natural conversation.
From IEC standards to FDA requirements, MDR to UL listings, NavJun covers 80+ regulatory frameworks so your team can focus on what they do best: building great products.
And we do it with a privacy-first architecture: your queries are processed in memory and discarded after each response, with no persistent record on our servers.

OUR VALUES
These aren't principles we put on a wall. They're the decisions we make every day when building NavJun.
Knowledge Integrity
We only surface guidance we can cite. Every answer includes sources, so you can verify, not just trust. We’d rather say ‘we don’t know’ than fabricate confidence.
Intelligent Simplicity
Regulatory language is complex. Our job is to make it simple without losing precision. If an answer requires 3 paragraphs, we didn’t work hard enough.
Privacy by Design
Your product IP is your competitive advantage. We built privacy by design from day one, not as a feature, but as a foundational principle.
Your team, not ours
We want your team to become more capable, not more dependent. NavJun gives you the context to make informed decisions, so you're never held hostage to an external consultant.
THE TEAM
Our team combines deep expertise in regulatory affairs, AI engineering, and product development.
Join the product teams who’ve turned regulatory clarity into faster launches and better products.
